Obsess much?

So, a few weeks back a new show premiered on HBO called 'Game of Thrones', named after the first book of an epic fantasy series that it is based on, 'A song of ice and fire'. Like a week before the first episode, i had never heard of these books, and had only seen like one teaser for the show.

Fast forward to today, and I've read all four books, itching to start the fifth, due out in a month or so, and have watched every episode so far (loudly critiquing everything i think they got wrong, of course). I am utterly obsessed with this story!

I seem to do this a lot. i latch on to stories and wring them out for all their worth. same thing happened with lord of the rings when that came out, or Watchmen, The Tudors, more recently the Sherlock Holmes mysteries or the Mass effect video game series. I'm a sucker for a good story, but i hate endings. As soon as i finish one i feel i have to find another. fortunately in this case, neither are the book series nor the show anywhere near done.

an exercise in sitemapping, i liked the final product tho

a conceptual gatefold brochure, for F1 obviously. choice of subject matter was up to us, and i was tired of self promos.

and my portrait work from the semester, well the good ones anyway.
