Lately i've been experimenting with my caricatures, just trying different things, and generally pushing the exaggeration, not as much as i would like, but i'm trying. here are a few of those experiments, all of caricaturists from various forums. it's easy to go crazy with them, seeing as they asked for it, and they can't really complain.
these were all pretty quick reflexive sketches, just trying to be spontanious and fun and not overwork them.
Wow, man nice work, I ran across your caricatures on the drawing board and checked out your blog!! Sweet stuff...I recognized Tommy L. Jones (in the box) immediately!! Were you in Raleigh at the NCN Con? Forgive my ignorance if so, first year for me.
Fantastic as always....... the first one reminds me a bit of David Duchovny. I'm an ultrafan of Hirschfeld and to find someone who manages line like this is... eh...
maritze, Dominic, thanks so much for the comments.
she-thing, thanks. interesting you mention Hirschfeld, his work never really inspired me, and i'm really not all that familiar with him, i guess i just gravitated to a similar style. i do see what you're talking about, and it's flattering to be compared to someone considered a master of caricature.

Thanks bat. appreciate the feedback.
unfortuneately i haven't been able to join the NCN, i would love to, the work coming out of those conventions is amazing, very inspiring.
Great linework William! I really like the spontaneity of the third one down as well.
