A quick one done for the latest Chiustream contest, It's Jason Seiler, caricature artist extraordinaire. It Seemed everyone and their brother was drawing him, saw there was a contest, figured I'd give it a shot as well. Whoever wins, gets an original caricature by Jason. I suppose it's a great way of getting a bunch of free caricatures. I've also included a little shot of my process as well.

Hey Will, I have a question. With the retail caricatures do you do quick successive thumbs like that as well?
I've never done but a single pre-sketch for live work, just for compositions sake. Even nowadays, even though i'm a bit rusty, i wouldn't make a live customer sit through me sketching them out a bunch of times, it's kinda done in my head.
Besides, Live work is a whole different animal, and seeing someone in 3d and watching their mannerisms and posture go a looooong way towards getting some good exaggeration quickly.
