Woah! I don't know if that's a plan you've sticked with, but it looks to me that there's two versions of Leckie in one - a night-Leckie (with the big pupil and nightish light on the left) and day-Leckie on the right. Is that just a coincidence?
espen- ha, no that wasnt my intent, but that's an interesting way to look at it. i've actually made an edit to address that .
Vince- Thank you, i've never been a fan of super tight rendering and feel it's a pain but it's nice to get that look and still not get bored or have the image burned into your retinas, which i think i achieved here.

Looks like the experiment was a success...super job on the rendering (and of course always a great stretch).
