Got some new oils the other day, decided once again to get into them. i feel i have a better handle on how to use them after all the practice w/ acrylics. God, what a fucking hassle, but they look soooo great.

I think you'll find after a time, that they are as easy if not easier to use than acrylics.

yeah, Jim, there are certain aspects that make oils so much easier to handle, things like blending are effortless. it's just the clean up i hate.
I'm about to get back into oils myself. Great to see you going in new directions, Will. And with such great results you're sure to build a reputation as a portrait artist as well as caricature.
