Iron man

finally got around to doing an iron man piece, i was planning on doing some cool dynamic pose, it ended up pretty boring, in my opinion. perhaps i'll do another once i'm done with finals.

man, i haven't posted in a while, a week goes by fast.

anyways, here's my latest, "the monkey king", the main character of the classic Chinese novel "A Journey to the West", the latest topic over at Drawingboard. the story was turned into a japanese tv show a while ago that never aired here, and is soon to be a movie starring Jet li, not to mention the story was the inspiration for the cartoon dragonball Z. so, it's an interesting story with some pretty cool characters. ok, i'll stop talking.

decided to have a go at lebron james after watching the playoffs the past couple of weeks. He almost got the cavs a win in game 7 against Boston, oh well. here's to a great season.

here's something for today, the subject of the latest open thread on drawing board, Vampirella! she's a vampire and a superhero or something, who's costume consists of a bathing suit, so whatever. i rarely draw girls so i usually take the opportunities when i get them. this one's just some practice with my new cartoony look.

1 year already!

Well, i'm a bit late, but last month marked the 1 year anniversary of my art blog, to tell the truth i'm pretty surprised, and proud i've stuck with it for this long.This little undertaking has really shown me where my art has come from and where it is going, inspiring me to take new steps in my art. I would like to sincerely thank all of you who have checked out my blog and commented, or just taken a look. I can only hope that what i've posted here has been fun to look through, made you laugh or most of all inspired you. And to all of the artists whose art blogs inspired me to start my own, Thanks.
