Looking sweet William... liking the background, a lot. I wonder what it would look lik without the characters? I think it's very, very good- specially the part of the flying boats and that station-like thing. Also, congrats on holding on to a project and never give in. I've been like, 3 years trying to friggin' get a Harry Potter reasonable illustration and I still can't get anything- I'm easily distracted too, by other themes, books, movies, illustrations... hah.
So I'd say yeah, go ahead and do millions of this John Carter illustrations! This is a fantastic beginning. Also, liking your explanations below. Besos, all the best.

I know what you mean, i still have a couple of ideas that i've been avoiding for a while now.
Though i might take you up on the idea of more john carter stuff, it's a great fiction to explore with illustration.
