...as Sherlock Holmes of course.
this is the first time in a long while i have been spurred to action by one of the many online caricature contests there seem to be now, the latest subject on e-caricatures is Mr Holmes in any one of his film incarnations. As i've already caricatured Robert downey jr. and benedict cumberbatch, that left only one that i had actually seen before.
So, here is my first attempt. there is plenty i'm not satisfied with, but i feel it's on the right track.

I recognize the face even though the name means nothing so I would say, yes you're on the right track.
